The funny thing is, I thought everyone would know...
Some of my posts (the points I didn't feel like typing up all over again) were old "Killtacular" posts simply copied and pasted from the archives.
I assumed someone would put 2 and 2 together.

I didn't know it either until he told me.
Good disguise or I'm really stupid.

Oh Killtacular.... btw. What is that avatar you have.
It looks like a BP gas sign. What is it really?

It went from a one-man show to a club? Lovely.
I won't get into it here ... I was trying to discuss it with the poster without involving mods, but my PMs were ignored. I guess if Karma has been removed, it's a dead issue anyway.

Dude... don't let that stuff bother you. If you can get away with a little smiting rather than a flame war, what's the problem?
They were probably getting more entertainment seeing you get annoyed by it than anything......

It's a symbol from a game that I used to play (Halo 2). I thought it looked purdy cool so I decided a purdy cool avatar is better than no avatar at all!

The issue was that if someone has negative karma, anyone not in the know assumes that person is a troublemaker, which wasn't the case. Basically, it was like sanctioned personal attacks. And it would have bothered me less if the person I'd PM'd had discussed the issue with me instead of hiding.
Of course, the game is gone, so now it doesn't bother me at all.

Anyway ... let's drop it. It ruins a perfectly good introduction thread to get into this.

Hmm, let's test.
Did you know I was RobAndAmber?

To be honest... I'd love to have negative Karma.
Smite me! Smite me! Smite me!
I saw some poster with -1000 Karma on here.... Amazing!

Hmm, let's test. Did you know I was RobAndAmber? I assumed a law-abiding Scout.com poster such as yourself would NEVER have another alias!

I had another one, as I believe I mentioned -- JollyOldSantaClaus. But I told the mods about that -- I was planning on dropping 85Jays after I quit moderating, but ended up reverting back. After all "85Jays" still carries with it the "Home Plate Umpire" designation, which makes me seem more important than I am.

I faintly remember Santa...
Weren't you doing those annoying cheery threads with no basis in reality? Or was that someone else.
You know.... the ones saying the Jays weren't out of it when they were 15 GB with 16 games to go?

I made an alias once, but I never used it. I can't even remember what it was.

No ... you're thinking of cupcake. I have no idea who that was. I always suspected an alternate ID, but couldn't put a finger on who it was. Those were annoying at first ... but got funny with repetition.
I miss cupcake.

I'll remind you. It was grounddoubt.
Just kidding.
Man, you have no idea how many people thought you two were the same person.

Thanks for the invite!
Introduction time... I'm a 26 year old video game developer living in Montreal. Jays fan since sometime in the late 80's, though I drifted away from Baseball for some time after the strike. I started following the game casually sometime around '99, and about a year later my interest spiked when I discovered an old Bill James abstract. The numbers game intrigued me, appealed to my inner-geek. It was like a search for truth within the isolated environment of the diamond. That's when I shifted from Blue Jay fan first, baseball fan second to baseball fan first, Blue Jay fan second.
I look forward to seeing some interesting discussions while killing time at work ;D

I'll remind you. It was grounddoubt. Just kidding. Man, you have no idea how many people thought you two were the same person. Nope.... it never was me. I was accused of being about 3 or 4 different people, and the funny thing was that I never posted under any other handle... In fact I actually tried to communicate with grounddoubt a couple of times and he wouldn't even respond to my PM's.... so were were hardly even buddies. I remember someone putting together some sort of case with 'evidence' that grounddoubt and I were the same person. I can't remember who was now, but I can remember being so amused that someone would take the time to try and expose some conspiracy that didn't exist.

I saw some poster with -1000 Karma on here.... Amazing! Yeah...I did that. He's a banned poster from our old wrestling board that followed us over here. I'm sure he would have reached that number without my help though.
