I don't understand Isaiah Thomas. The team already has a ballooned payroll and he's on the fence as to being fired, and he goes out to spend $5,000,000+ on a SF when what they need is a big man. Then again, this is the team that already has Steve Francis, Stephon Marbury and Jamal Crawford as their PG's.

Can't you tell they are gonna be stacked...
C - Curry, James PF - Frye, Lee, Malik Rose, Taylor SF - Jefferies, Quentin, Jalen Rose SG - Crawford? PG - Francis, $tarbury, Robinson
Well they should be better than last year but who knows about even that. How can a team have such a great amount of individual talent and have so little team talent. Of course all team start at the PG position and the same thing is going on here. Starbury and Francius are both too selfish.

I think you answered your own question there.
As for Jeffries...
Did Thomas overpay? I think he did. Once you look past that, though, I think Jeffries SHOULD help.
From what I've seen of him, and I've seen him enough times, I think, he's the type of player that I would like to have on my team. He's obviously not going to put the Knicks over the top. At least, not by himself he's not. But I think he's a very, very small step in the right direction.

I think that Jefferies could be an effective 6th or 7th man but nothing more. He is just someone I wouldnt want on my team at a price tag of the full MLE.
