According the the NHL Board poll, the Panthers are my favorite hockey team ... meh, either way I'm a fan of the Cats because they've just worn me down over the years. Being a Steelers guy located in Raleigh is a bit of a stretch anyway ... especially since unlike half of Raleigh I never lived in Pittsburgh. Panther coverage is ubiquitous ... you just can't get away from it.
I like the Panthers' chances this year, barring injuries to key guys. They've lost some pop at outside linebacker, but seem to intend to make up for it with serious versatility and depth. With that D-line it probably won't matter either way ... Rucker, Peppers and the two big boys inside make 'em tough to move regardless. Hopefully one of the two backs can estanblish himself and they can get the running game back on track. It shocked the heck out of me that they made the Conference Final without their usual ground attack.

funny.....I recognize all you Panthers fans!!! fellow hockey fans!!
Peppers is my boy. LOVE this guy. Helps that he is a local boy. Yep, when I moved here eight years ago, I was still hanging on to the EX L.A.Rams. But it is so much easier to go with the local team. So I eventually got hung up on the Panthers. And like the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team, they too will give you a cardiac arrest.
Can't wait for both seasons to start!!
Hey Sportsnutt, are you a Panther fan?
