I bought a Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 for my laptop a couple days ago because i loath the touchpad and it was working great until today it decided not to. For some reason the mouse wont work. When i go to control panel>mouse and click on hardware, it says that the device is working properly...but its not. I uninstalled the hardware restarted my computer and installed the hardware again, but nothing. Can anybody help me. Also in "hardware" the wireless mouse location is "Location 0" dunno what that means. I fixed the title for you. -shimI fixed Shim's "fix." ;D

Perhaps you should change the thread title to: "I hate used batteries."
