CINCINNATI -- One month after being charged with resisting arrest, defensive tackle Matthias Askew has been waived by the Cincinnati Bengals.
Askew is one of five Bengals to run afoul of the law, but the first to be released by the team. Police had to use a stun gun to subdue the 6-5, 302-pound Askew when he was arrested.
