Nice report - linkJoey Ryan is a promising Dman prospect, the Kings picked him in the 2nd round (#48 overall) in the 2006 draft. In the interview, he also spoke about the recent rookie camp: "That was good, they had us skating three times a day: twice in the morning, off-ice running and on the ice for another hour. They treated us well. They took us to the Staples Center - where the (Kings) play - for a tour. I had a good time."
As for his future plans, Ryan’s schedule appears booked. He jetted off to Quebec Sunday to start training camp with the Remparts. He will fly back to Los Angeles in early September to participate in the first official week of training camp with the Kings. From there, anything is possible. "If they like me, I could end up staying," Ryan said. "If not, I’ll just go back to Canada for one more year."
