A blog mentioned the Kings inquired about him and Leetch...
Thoughts?

No way, injury prone players are one thing we need with our young kids. Plus we already at a shot with Allison we saw what happend. Save the money for a rainy day please.

I agree. Let's just hang on to the $5 mil we have in reserve right now. We wouldn't know yet how much this money would come into play during or at the end of the season. We need to have money in case the stupid injury bug hits the Kings again this year. We're definitely going to need that extra cash for extra players later down the road. Allison? He's washed up. And Leetch? For one year $1mil dollars I would do it. If not, too bad.

I remember when we first traded for this guy from Boston. I don't want him back and am another who thinks it'll be a bad move by us. Use that 5 mil salary cap space next season on a top free agent or use it in a trade deadline trade. Always comes in handy.

No way Jose...keep the dough, spend it on the kids...stink it up to high heaven, and continue to build for the future. If it means empty seats at Staples...fine by me...it will be easier to take a piss.

Signing Leetch and Allison or even just one of those guys would keep us in the same rut. Just good enough to squeak in the playoffs or finish just outside of them and will aloow us to get another 11-13 pick. Let the kids play, if we suck, we suck again, but we start doing it the right way.

Signing Allison would be like signing JR...oh...wait...we did that. Opps, new GM with brains. Never Mind...stay retired Jason.

Allison didn't even want to be here in the first place, so why take him back.

Signing Jason Allison would be a desperation move. Why would Dean Lombardi spend money on this guy who never proved himself since coming out of Los Angeles. What did Jason Allison do in Toronto? I don't see Toronto's GM John Ferguson scrambling to sign Allison. Wouldn't it be better for Allison to call it quits and just look forward to coaching? Check out Steve McKenna's new career!
