Name: Alberto
Gender: Male
Age: 31
Birthday: 01/29
Location: Canonica d'Adda, Bergamo - Italia
Status: a hockey player married from almost 2 years with a figure skater. A match made in heaven.
Occupation: Sales Executive
Favorite Music Artist(s): Too many to list...I've been a huge trash & power metal addicted when I was younger: Metallica (the old ones - we miss you Cliff!), Slayer, Megadeth, Pantera, Sepultura, I like all of them. But also, Alice in Chains, Lacuna Coil, Nirvana, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Finger Eleven...and of course Pearl Jam. Lately I like to listen the System of a Down.
Favorite TV show: Do you know any italian tv show? No? Better for you, they all suck. My wife is addicted to OC, and I watch it too (but don't tell anybody please)
Favorite Book(s) or Author(s): Easy answer: Jenna Jameson biography...eheh. Talking seriously, every well written book about WWII.
Favorite King: Michael Cammalleri
Favorite All time King: Adam Deadmarsh & Luc Robitaille ex aequo
Favorite former King (still playing): Olli Jokinen
Favorite non King: Alexander Ovechkin, simply unhuman
Next or other favorite team: I have a soft spot for the Tampa Bay Lightning and the New Jersey Devils.
Team(s) you despise: Colorado, Anaheim and Dallas (sorry Kim).
Favorite Kings moment: Deader game winner in game6 against Detroit in 2001
Least favorite Kings moment: This season has a good chance of finishing among the memories I'd like to quickly forget.
How and when did you become a Kings fan: I started following the NHL in 1992 and at that time I had a simpathy for the Kings, but I knew very little about the NHL. Then, a few months ago, I had the luck to watch game7 of the Western Conference Finals. At the end of it I was jumping in front of the tv, with my mom & dad looking at me wondering "What the hell is he doing? Milan isn't playing!?!". It was the beginning of a great passion, that keeps me awake almost every night until at least 2 o'clock from october to the following spring. I've already made a trip to LA in 2003 and I hope to come back soon, hopefully next year.
Have you ever played hockey: I play both ice and inline hockey. I enjoy both, but to be honest with you: ice hockey = sex without condom ; inline hockey = sex with condom. Same sports, different feelings.

How did you end up in this message board: I ran into this message board (used to be called "FanHome"} while surfing the internet and found a very small group of people talking about the Kings. kaspar, tuk, and josht were the first Kings' fan I met at this place. This place was dead when none of these guys log in or leave a message. Then I was asked to be a moderator. Like being asked to moderate an empty room. And I'm still here! Oh well, I wonder whatever happened to my old buddies?
Favorite Kings moment: Adam Deadmarsh’s game winner in game6 against Detroit in 2001 is one of them. But the most memorable for me was Mike Krushelnyski’s goal in double overtime against the Calgary Flames. A frozen moment in time, I can still see the puck floating over Mike Vernon’s glove and into the net. That was truly a remarkable game. Our house was loud and rockin' that night!
Least favorite Kings moment: When they finally announced that the Kings traded Wayne Gretzky to the St. Louis Blues for Craig Johnson, Patrice Tardif, Roman Vopat, etc. That day really sucked for all Kings’ fan.
How and when did you become a Kings fan: I started watching the Kings in 1979. At that time, I was more interested in basketball (Lakers) and thought that the other team wearing the same color jersey would be interesting to watch. Since coming from Toronto, Canada then moved to Chicago, Illinois and then making the final stop in Los Angeles, California, I decided to root for the home team. I could have easily been a Leafs’ fan or Hawks’ fan, but the Kings is the team I chose to root for…I’m a homer!
Who do you think is the best player drafted by the Kings (currently in the organization): Presently, I believe Lubomir Visnovsky is the best player the Kings drafted so far.
Who do you think is/was the worst player drafted by the Kings (currently or past): I can't really think of anybody but Pavel Rosa- The kid was good and very impressive in his first few games. Then Rosa got injured and his game slowly deteriorated. Very disappointing.
Do you believe the Kings will win the Stanley Cup someday: Ha-ha-ha!
Have you ever played hockey: Yes. I played three years recreational ice hockey. Nothing really competitive - Just a bunch of guys getting together and played ice hockey (if that's what you call it) every weekend.
Position: Right Wing/Center

Mr.Brett
Name: Brett (duh)
Gender: Male
Age: 29
Birthday: 10/2
Location: Tarzana, CA...USA
Status: Single
Occupation: Account Manager
Favorite Music Artist(s): I could go on forever, but...Bad Religion, Pennywise, NOFX, Good Riddance, The Clash, The Specials, Less Than Jake, Strung Out, Lagwagon, The Bouncing Souls, Dead Kennedy's, Face to Face, Millencolin, Hepcat, Snapcase, H2O, The Vandals, Unwritten Law (old), Social Distortion...I think you get the picture...I'm a punk (like anyone needed any help figuring that out).
Favorite TV show: I actually know of a few Albi (a friend who lives in Rome). The Shield, Lost, and of course NHL hockey.
Favorite Book(s) or Author(s): Jeff Sharaara who has written about 9 books all on the Revolutionary War, The Mexican-American War, The Civil War, and has now moved onto World War I. I also enjoy anything historical on WWII as well.
Favorite King: Still Dustin Brown.
Favorite All time King: Probably Tomas Sandstrom or Rob Blake (boo all you want you idiots)
Favorite former King (still playing): Too many to choose from...probably Lappy.
Favorite non King: Alexander Ovechkin, simply unhuman (gotta agree with Albi here...simply unbelievable).
Next or other favorite team: I kinda like the 'Ning and the Buffalo Sabres even though they always kick our asses.
Team(s) you despise: Colorado, Anaheim and San Jose
Favorite Kings moment: Seeing the Stanley Cup in the Fabulous Forum and watching Mike Krushelnyski score that game winning goal, in person, over the outstretched arm of Mike Vernon in double OT to beat Calgary all those years ago...
Least favorite Kings moment: Losing in the finals to Montreal. Absolutely broke my heart and I still don't think I have fully recovered.
How and when did you become a Kings fan: Goes back to about 1985. I watched the All-Star game on TV with my Pops. Mario's rookie year, and he scored the game winner in that game. I was a casual fan after that. Then the next season, I managed to catch a few games of the Kings on TV. I had no clue what I was watching. None of the rules, strategies, noting. But, I loved the speed and physical play (I was only about 8 years old at the time). It got to the point that I wouldn't watch anything on TV that wasn't Kings related. It got pretty sick...wore all Kings clothing daily to school. When they made it to the finals, I had people in school congratulating me...like I was the only one around. To this day, as a tradition, I wear a Kings jersey the day after the season has ended. No matter how good or bad that year went, I am still a fan.
Have you ever played hockey: Yup...play both roller and now ice. I've played roller for a good 20 or so years and just now started playing ice. Could never really afford it, so I never started playing it because I knew I would like it too much...yup, I was right.

Position: Left Defense
Shoots: Right (set me up for the one-timer from the point)
