Preety much all teams are set...no oil you're not getting anymore D and nucks no RW for you, work with what ya have and suck it up...predict the standings
1-4 Calgary, Nashville, Anaheim, San Jose 5-Detroit 6-Dallas 7-Minnesota 8-Vancouver 9-Columbus 10-Phoenix 11-Edmonton 12-Los Angeles 13-Colorado 14-St.louis 15-Chicago
columbos will be a darkhorse, if Zherdev signs and they play some defence, they can get into playoffs at the canucks expense.

Calgary, Nashville, Anaheim, San Jose
any of these 4 could just own this season, and meeting any of these would scare the crap out of me in the playoffs.
as per the rest who cares as long as edmonton doesn't make it into the playoffs

It's always hard to predict the standings.
Last year, I expected Vancouver would win the division, while I expected Calgary would have home ice: read, finish 4th.
This year, Calgary and Nashville will be prohibative favorites to win their divisions. I like the Sharks a little more than I like the Ducks for the Pacific, with Anaheim finishing 4th.
After that, the conference is a mess. IMO, Chicago, St. Louis and Phoneix are out.
That leaves eight teams piled on top of eachother looking for those last four playoff spots.
I expect Dallas and Detroit will occupy two of them. I expect LA will miss out. Colorado will make it if Theodore can recover his form. Edmonton will not unless they can aquire a top defenseman early in the season, and it wont happen.
