www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?post_id=2623Earlier this week, Flyers' trainer Jim McCrossin and his family, were to fly to Sweden (at Forsberg's expense). After a few days of vacation with his family, McCrossin was to directly supervise Forsberg's training regimen.
Initially, the Flyers agreed to let McCrossin go on the trip. However, due to the heightened terrorism alerts in the wake of the the foiled terrorist plot in London last week, Flyers management asked McCrossin not to fly overseas.
Forsberg, who flew home to Sweden (for the first time this offseason) ahead of last week's events, had wanted the trainer along because McCrossin has accompanied him to all doctor's visits related to the reconstructive surgery the Flyers' center underwent on his right foot and ankle.
According to Peter's father and former Team Sweden coach, Kent Forsberg, the player will work out by himself at Daniel Westling's Stockholm gym, Balance. He will then skate in his hometown of Örnsköldsvik.
Forsberg will stay in touch with McCrossin by phone. Obviously, there is no change in timetable for Forsberg's return to NHL action. He's still shooting for an October return.

We, as Flyers fans, need to put together a pot and pay McCrossin to stay as far away from Force as possible.
The man is the human Kiss of Death.

Hockeybuzz? Isn't that Eklund? Surprised he didn't have McCrossin as one of the terrorists arrested in England last week or some other stupid rumor like that.
