I don't understand why anyone would pick any other game other than a cup winner. I guess if fans are to young to remember, I could understand.

What about game 4 vs. Buffalo last year? Some of the best hockey I've seen in my life.....

Can't wait for that DVD to come out.
It's about time the NHL made a DVD for Flyers fans.

Hmm. I'm surprised y'all missed this one... April 16, 1988 - Washington Capitals centre Dale Hunter beats Philadelphia Flyers goalie Ron Hextall five-hole in overtime to clinch a 4-3 series win for the visiting Caps!

How is the JR goal against the Leafs #6 but when they broke the undefeated record is #7?

I'd rather reminisce about Isles/Caps playoff series instead.

I'd rather reminisce about Isles/Caps playoff series instead. Most of those have been fun to watch - even if the Caps have always lost. I tend to enjoy reminiscing about Flyers/Isles Finals games myself.

How is the JR goal against the Leafs #6 but when they broke the undefeated record is #7? The same reason why our 2nd cup win is NUMBER 3 over Primeau's overtime goal.

So... out of curiosity...
When the Caps and Pengwhines play each other who do Flyer fans root for?
I tend to pull for the Flyers when they play against Pittsburgh.
The whole "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing works out well sometimes.

The whole "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing works out well sometimes. It depends if it means anything to the Flyers towards the end of the season. Given no playoff contention results, definitely the Caps. (Except for when Jagr was there)

And you better off for it!!!! Yes, we are! ;D We've never gone up for a Philly game. We did see the Phantoms play the Pirates a few years ago...when that was still the Caps' farm team. That was fun.

You'd be safe coming up here for a game. Now, if you were a Ranger fan, then its a different story. LOL

And you better off for it!!!! You better believe it... bringing in that whining be-atch was the worst thing this team could have done. Granted, the team also did a horrible job of handling him and integrating him to the team - instead of finding ways for Jagr's considerable talents to build on what the Caps already did well - work their asses off all game long - they seemed determined to try and get the other 17 skaters to change their games to fit Jagr. Dumb as dirt.
