Atlanta Journal-Constitution - www.ajc.com/sports/content/sports/thrashers/stories/0813nhlinsider.html Not much to go on, but "Blueland" is slow right now, so why not mention it? If this happens, wouldn't the Thrash have to move one of thier defensemen? They already have 6 more than capable ones by my count (Havelid, DeVries, McCarthy, Popovic, Exelby, and Sutton).

I have good reason to believe that Vishnevski will be shipped to Washington shortly.

Oh this is great! Only had to give up 2 draft picks and a scrub 4th liner! This makes the Thrashers D very solid. Vishnevski and Exelby on the same defense has to scare some people. Or at least make them think twice before putting their heads down. I'm thrilled with this move.

Nice SL, you were right. However, right now I think the Thrashers overpayed. At least the Ducks received a couple picks that they lost from the Pronger trade.
Good trade for the Thrashers, Vishnevski and his bone-crushing hits were fan favourites here.

Meh, draft picks seem to be worth less and less nowadays, so I'm not really too fussed about what the Thrash gave up. Again, I just really like the thought of Vishnevski and Exelby patrolling the same blueline. Talk about a nightmare!

It's just quite a bit more than I was expecting to receive, is all.
