As does Chacin. I don't see him more than a #5 starter AT BEST, most likely a long reliever... sadly that goes for a lot of the Jays young pitchers.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him go back to the minors at some point. I also wouldn't be too surprised if he didn't have a significant role on the team (ie: other than replacement player for injury kind of thing). Yes, I have little confidence in Chacin. I hope he proves me wrong.

Crikey. You guys are a bit hard on a #4/#5 type guy who hasn't been healthy most of the year.
Last year was a fluke. He somehow got good results despite very questionable ratios and command. But I don't think he's useless. He needs more than a handful of starts to re-establish his old form, if his elbow is even completely healthy.
His problem right now is just that he has no control. Not good for a guy who needs to hit his spots. If he can correct that then he will be fine. If he can't, he'll go the way of Josh Towers.
