Lilly to play for Giants next year?

Lilly, who has pitched for Oakland, will be a free agent this winter and has told many people he wants to pitch for the Giants next season.

Maybe it's just Shea stirring the pot, but if true why do we still have him on our team. He's under BlueJay contract, yet says he want to return to the Bay area next season. Why keep someone who's heart isnt in Toronto.

Umm, because getting rid of him isnt that easy? Despite his attitude, he wont clear waivers. Let his contract expire, offer him arbitration, then look to trade him.
