If Gibbons is not done by then, then the Jays will have officially become the laughingstock of Baseball, they will probably only win 10 more games this year and JP and Gibbons will both be gone at the end of the year. If JP values his own job, he must get rid of Gibbons.

He's going to punish the Jays by never watching another Game on TV!!!
I have a feeling nothing gets done by JP. Just Sweep it under the rug and forget about it.

Couldn't you have stated this in the other thread that you started about Gibbons?

Me too. I don't mind Gibbons, but something's wrong, either with the players themselves or the manager. The manager will and probably should take the fall. Most teams don't have this many altercations in a season...

Most teams don't have this many altercations in a season... As a Jays Fan I remember the George Bell/ Jimmy Williams Fiasco in 88', and we all know what happened then. 1999 Was Tim Johnson and his silly Lies, look what happened then. Im just not understanding why JP does nothing. Is he waiting for something worse to happen?

Could you explain what happened? I only became a fan last year, after the Expos died.

Simplified
Johnson lied about several things (including killing people in the Vietnam War), in order to motivate his players.
George Bell Refused to DH and the Manager and he butted heads over the matter. In early 89' after a poor start, the GM decided It was Time to get rid of Jimmy williams.
PSSSS......I know, above post I said 88' but it was in 89' that Williams was Fired

Godfrey says no discliplinary action is necessary for either Gibby or Lilly.
Any ideas for Gibbbon's "fighting nickname" ala, the real deal, or lights out?

If not, what will you do? Start another six threads. Funny how he isnt going after Lilly for starting the entire thing, eh? Gotta love people with agendas. There are none so blind...
