Roy going for #16.
I forgot the game was on this afternoon. Thanks for the reminder Test.
When Roy pitches, it's about the only time JohnnyMac should be in the lineup.
Go Jays Go!!

Halladay only needed 13 pitches, while Bedard used 35 to escape the first inning.

Ok, gotta beg the question, if you had to give 15 million to three players on this team, which 3? Jp really has what 5 players that will command 10-15 (Burnett, Halladay, Wells, Glaus, Ryan)

Halladay Is the easiest choice. Top 3 pitcher in baseball IMO. No problem giving 15 Million to him. Vernon Wells would be my Second choice. GG defence and 30HR 100 RBI. 10-12 Million is Fine with me. Burnett is a waste of Money IMO. Never liked paying him that much in the 1st place. Ryan is paid too much as well. I know he's been lights out, but no closer is worth 10+Million Glaus - defence is ok, AVG not great, but Jays need his HR hitting bat. Tad overpaid.

Glaus is the most important hitter in the entire lineup. He is an offensive catalyst who makes the hitters around him better and is easily worth a lot more to this team (player-value as well as monetary) than Wells.

IMO, the money list should go as follows:
1) Doc.... shouldn't even really be discussed
2 and 3)Wells and Glaus... Wells is more talented, but both should be making about the same amount of money. Wells is better with a masher behind him... Glaus is that masher
4) Burnett.... way overpiad of course, but IMO he does have the stuff... can he control it? we shall see
5) Ryan...... great closer, but 9 million for 45-50 appearences... I don't know about that
