11 - Number of Consecutive Losses by the Mariners 20 - Number of Consecutive Losses by the Mariners against AL West Teams 4.39 - The lowest ERA of any of our starting pitchers this season (I'm not counting Jake Woods' 1 start)

Those are the teams you need to beat to be a contender. How are you going to win your division if you can't beat the teams in your division? 11 in a row....well, that's also not good. I don't think 4.39 is that bad. Remember they're in the American League, where the ERA's are higher than the NL. By comparison the lowest ERA's for other AL West teams include Lackey 3.52, Zito at 3.76 and Padilla in Texas is also at 4.39.
