They've really been struggling lately, where do you think they'll end up in the standings? Personally I think they'll hold on and win the Central title.

Things are looking pretty grim. The only way I see this team accomplishing anything is if Mulder comes back and looks like he did back in his Oakland days, and Jim Edmonds hits another hot streak. And lets just say I'm not holding my breath.

Well, given tonights performance, I'd say the Cards are doomed unless Carp thinks he can pitch every three days. Marquis is embarrasing himself. Reyes isn't ready for full-time duty yet. Suppan's been wildly inconsistent this year. Mulder's barely holding his own against AAA hitting. If Weaver can build off his past two starts, he'll be allright. But the rotation is still looking tragic.

I think the Cards will manage to hold on and win the Central.
Why? Well, because it seems like everytime the Reds have a chance to pass them, they fail to do so.
I mean, if this team can weather 2 8-game losing streaks without relinquishing first place, I almost think it's meant to be. It's not going to be easy, though, because the Cards have a number of tough games remaining.
