I don't want to clutter this busy board by putting it in the game thread, but Matt Thorton has got to be grabbing some attention by now. He seems to be finding his niche very well in the Chicago bullpen. His 3.69 ERA is nothing spectacular, but very solid for the American League. He is giving up a few too many baserunners for my liking, but his K/BB ratio has improved by light years.

It's hard to keep a low ERA in the bullpen. He has provided a much needed boost in the later innings for this club on several occasions.
