Anybody else catching Life on Mars on BBCAmerica and enjoying the heck out of this cop show with a time warp twist? A modern day detective gets hit by a car and his subconcious lands in 1973 while he's in a coma in the present day. Culture shock ensues ... and the period references for clothes, music and attitude are just dead on the money.
This is quality stuff from the UK ... check it out if you have satelite or digital cable.

Don't have BBC America, damn it. Do they use the David Bowie song of the same title for the theme song?

1. It's on Monday nights at 10 ... then they repeat it at like 1 AM or something. God bless those 100-plus digital cable channels. They're a Tivo blessing with the repeats.
2. The soundtrack for this thing is perfect. Bowie's been featured a couple of times, including the track with the same title as the series. That was on the first episode. So far they've blasted some T-Rex, the Who, the Stones, the Faces, Rory Galagher and some others. The title character got sidetracked in a RECORD store in an early episode ... strange to see one of those again.
