My financial institution, like all the others, has a bank machine on it's building. When you log in, it asks if you want a receipt for the transaction. I generally say yes, to cover my arse in case they screw up inside, but sometimes will say no, if it's just an inquiry. Everytime I go to use it, some goofball has left their receipt in the slot for me to read... If they didn't want a receipt, why do they keep answering "yes"   What makes you go "hmmmmm...." ? |

Today on the bus I sat behind a lovely couple. The woman was a little heavy, but otherwise unremarkable so I'll leave her alone. The man on the other hand, looked utterly ridiculous. He had orange pants, an orange shirt, blue tie, red suspenders, and an orange fedora. He also had this crazy earing that was pretty much a cowbell. Im pretty sure he was a clown for the rodeo, but I think he got lost.
His appearance made me go hmm.... (well actually it was a HAHAHAHA, but i figured my story was most relevant to this thread)

I saw someone on the metro whose clothes matched her hair.
Ok, so her hair was a combination of black and orange. Almost like she dyed the bottom half of her head black, and the top half orange. She was also wearing black and orange...if I was closer to Baltimore, I'd say she was going to an Orioles game, but somehow, I don't think she was.

You know those Goofy hats they sell as souvenirs at Disney? The ones for TODDLERS? With the ears hanging down?
Well, I saw a 50+ man wearing one walking proudly into a KFC with his wife .... no kids in sight. A teenage girl in the car next to mine took a pic with her phone - we both looked at each other and burst out laughing.
Lady in front of me at the pharmacy yesterday - white pants of a thinnish non natural material. Black underpants. *shakes head* Do people not look in a mirror before leaving the house?

Well, I saw a 50+ man wearing one walking proudly into a KFC with his wife .... no kids in sight. LOL - LTR - I took my 4 year old to Disneyworld last Thursday along with my father. My dad (59 years old) bought the Goofy hat. We took plenty of pictures with him, the real goofy and my daughter in Disney althought I doubt he will wear it anywhere else, other than the ocasional party. |

The local Whole Foods seems to employ the most unusual people. They have white, female rastafarians, Hindus...and now I have seen several times a transexual. He/She looks ridiculous trying to be a woman, with long hair, lipstick and lodes of base powder...
...I just cannot look him/her in the eye for fear of laughing.
I dont get it

ice stick...just this weekend, i was going up a hill, one lane each way with a double yellow line, and I was behind a bicyclist struggling up the hill...but I waited despite the 35 MPH speed limit, going a few miles per hour because I could not see over the hill and was not going to pass blindly.
An SUV came up behind me with an impatient woman driver...who started honking at me after a few seconds to pass this guy by crossing the line.
A few moments later, an SUV came over the hill the other way...would have crushed me and my family in a Saab convertable if I had listened to her.
Instead I flipped her the bird and pointed at the car that would have killed her of I had not been there.
She responded by tailgating me the next 2 miles after I could safely pass.
I would have loved to get a red light to get out and discuss how stupide she was

LOL, Im sometimes guilty of this. But to answer your question it's Simple. Whenever I use those Bank Machines I always say NO to the receipt, but when I make a deposit the machine automatically gives a receipt. Because Im in such a habit of never taking a receipt, I Overlook it when doing the deposit. Next time, check to see if a deposit was made on the slip, or perhaps a bill was being paid. |

As for things that make me go Hmmmm....
Some of you may know, but most probably don't, but Im in a wheelchair. A car accident at age 4 is the reason. Sitting in the chair puts me at Bum height to someone standing. Most of the time Im at a disadvantage in society, but there are those occasions when it has it's Perks. More and more Women today are wearing skirts, many of these women wear short skirts, and would you believe it or not, most of these women go commando. Now I have no problem with people going commando, but if your going to do it with a short skirt on, please remember to give it a trim, sometimes I get freightened with what I see.

Ok, I'm sitting at an intersection yesterday and I hear a siren getting louder and louder. I start looking around to see which direction the siren is coming. I finally see that it's a cop and he's coming up in the lane next to me which is the left turning lane. He's blaring the siren and is trying to make it thru the intersection ( which is a very busy intersection). Finally he makes it thru and I being the nosy person that I am try to see where he's going. I see him turning into a shopping center then I lose track of him. Well the light finally turned green and I proceeded to go on my merry way.... as I pass the shopping center, I see where the cop had to get to in such a hurry............... McDonalds!! As I pass buy I see him coming out the door headed back to his car ( with lights still flashing by the way) with a huge cup of coffee. I guess when you gotta have your "Joe" it's an emergency!! .. hmmm....

Small town life - where folks just STOP in the middle of the road to talk to a buddy .... then give YOU dirty looks because you want to DRIVE BY them and can't because they're BLOCKING the road ..... *sigh* (Yep, just happened to me on the way home )
