I think Flair/Foley will be well over four stars....anyone agree?

Probably.....but who's coming out on top? I hope Foley wins.....he's had fantastic promos, especially this past week.

I'd say Foley since Flair won the 2 Out of 3 Falls match. Foley is definitetly proving he is one of the best promo guys ever....Flair on the other hand is just hilarious. I love Mental Ric...

Foley, Rocky and Austin (atleast in 01) sure put over a lot of wrestlers. Unlike Huckster.

Yeah, it's fantastic for the business if it's done right......always hated Austin though......just a big bully.

I like him but not as much as The Rock or Foley. His run in 2001 really put over Benoit, Angle and Jericho though. He is a fantastic wrestler and I gotta respect that.

I guess, but the guy walked out multiple times because he refused to get pinned. That's not a team player. I don't care if it is The Coach.

So who is going to be ordering Summerslam 06?

Orton has responded to Hulk Hogan's proclamation that he's ready to go for SummerSlam, and he pulled no punches. - Link

Foley, Rocky and Austin (atleast in 01) sure put over a lot of wrestlers. Unlike Huckster. Rock and Foley, yes. Austin is EXACTLY like Hogan. People paid to see him win. That's rare (hence Hogan and Austin being the two biggest draws in wrestling). Hogan and Austin pick their "jobs" carefully. Hogan jobs to people who won't make him look bad in future years (Rock, Warrior, Goldberg, Lesnar, Angle, Show, etc). Austin hasn't shown me a real tendency to put specific guys over, maybe because his career was cut short. I think Flair will go over Foley and Hogan will go over Orton. Although the knee injury is a good copeout for Hogan if he should lose. Maybe the company tried to get Hogan to job to Boreton, and this was one of the ways Hogan could save face. We'll see.

Austin put over Jericho, Benoit and Angle in 2001 though, which helped them out a tonne.

I'd be very interested in the outcome of a Hogan/Austin match.

Where will Umaga be on this PPV? Or will he even be there? Maybe come out during the DX match?

With Khali/Taker off the card, could we see Lashley vs Finlay for the title? Maybe even throw Kennedy and/or Regal in the mix?

Are the 6 matches that are listed in the first post the only ones announced so far? They need a US Title match, ECW title match and a chick match at the very least IMO

There will be an ECW Title match.......hopefully there is a no contest on ECW and they have all four (which they should since there's heat for all 4 men, and having a 5 day build up for just one challenger isn't enough).
I hate chick matches.

I'm hoping Sabu wins the ladder match and faces Big Show, but RVD and Angle get into an argument and have a match too. That way we get two ECW matches on Summerslam and probably some other filler match (Kennedy vs. someone? IC Title? etc).....

The DX Vs McMahons would have been a better match had the McMahons been Tag-team champions going into SummerSlam, imo
