You guys make me want to get a cat. I had a neighbour who hated cats. He didn't mind dogs, though never had one. But cats were not something he ever liked. But he visited me often, (we were good friends) and whenever he did, my two feline children were there to greet him. Buffy, who I posted earlier. He just lay on the floor nearby. He was only a lapcat with me. His sister, Muffy, was the social butterfly. She was the one of the two who would always be the first to approach a new person. If she got even an inkling of attention, (like even just a look) she'd be on your lap, on her back, with her belly exposed and purring. "Do you love me? " Needless to say, over time, her charming worked. Before I moved away, that neighbour vowed to get a cat. lol! Muffy charmed the hate right outa him!

You know is kinda weird just how much kitties torture people who don't like cats. My 4 cats, who are all notoriusly scared of strangers...would always go rubbing around people who said they don't like cats. Maybe my cats were just cruel!

OK......so the kitty piccies: These are Frisky (grey and white) and Silky (Black), who I gre up with. My parents had them for a few years before me and my brother were born, and they both lived to be about 18-19. They were part siamese and part moggy, and sisters. Silky was very docile, and Frisky was....well frisky. She loved the sound of her own voice and would go out onto our kitchen roof, enclosed on 3 sides, and wail. This is Delilah (named for Freddie Mercury (from Queen)'s cat)as a wickle kittie (Nicknamed Dilly, or Wuffles, or Wuffletum, she never learn how to play without claws, so most people don't like playing with her, but she is my kitty, so I love too. Her mother and brother live next door.): And as a mature woman: This is Samson when he was young (he is a real lovable cat, loves to be fussed especially on his head, and if he wants attention he will roll around on the floor stretching and showing off his big white belly. He has the longest tail, which can touch his head, and kinda looks like a handle when it does.): And him a bit older (Mr Please Take My Picture): This is Cleopatra (or Cleo, Sam's sister, we got them both as resue cats when they were about 3 months old). She is tiny, especially compared to her brother, and has a little white dot on the end of her tiny tail, so sweet. She has become a real lovely little kitty, outside she hates it when you go near her (he nickname is the Bonsai Tiger, cos she is so tiny), but inside she loves to be fussed, and mews for attention, though you wouldn't know she ever made a sound. She loves stomping back and forth on your lap, until she settles down, then like to have her belly rubbed, and drool): This is Cassiopeia, the most recent additition to the family, and the biggest. Her mother was a Maine Coon (a stray that adopted my boyfriend's parents as her keeper, while pregnant), her father was a huge black tom, that came around to see his son (Taz, who was kept with his mother), and they'd go off hunting together. Cassie is the most loveabvle cat, she still suckles at your shoulder when you pick her up. But she is also pure evil, and nicknamed Satan as a kitten. She loves fighting and gets angry at the slightest thing, but I swear she has the shortest memory because about 30seconds after hissing and biting and scratching at you, she'll come back swishing her tale (another nickname is Swish) and chirping all sweetly. So that is my kitties that I left over in England with my parents.

I'll post a picture of my Siamese cat in a bit, I dont have my webcam hooked up right now. Hes 15 years old and almost totally blind, so its bad news if we move the furniture, cause he will bump into them. He bumps into a lot of things but is still a total sook and lap cat, always has to sleep ontop of someone. Hes also too old to reach the tip of his tail to clean so whenever hes sleeping on me i'll move his tail up to his mouth so he can clean it.
