Who is this Allah and why does he hate airplanes?.
Yeah I stole it from a comedian but I thought it was kind of funny. I was watching a thing on HBO and it was from 1987 it was actually kind of sad that what he was saying could easily be true today.

Booooo! A crotch rocket? Come on Ucan. If I didn't have a four year old running around the house, I'd have a HD sitting in the garage right now. Heh, 3 years, 10 months, 0 days away from my trip to a Harley dealership dude. Wish I was that close myself. Good to hear though. Sorry Ucan. I didn't mean to comfuse things but BH is right. One of my best friends did the same thing when he was just out of college. Side Note: I didn't know the crotch rocket was a woman thing. Man have times changed. I suddenly feel old.

Yeah, chicks like flahy colours, blinking lights, shiny things and speed nowadays, and the ones that DO like Chrome painted metal...errch, not attractive for the most part, let's just say that.
Ucan - I hope I'm getting you think about this. Getting a bike before you're 30 is cool and all, but so is not having to go to mom and dad for that first downpayment. Get it when you can appreciate it and the costs are minimized. While I'm sure you're a responsible young man, why should you have to pay through the nose because a bunch of dumbasses your age aren't?

Yep, I think I've been talked out of it. Gotta admit, the chick factor and not having money is what did it for me.... Now if only I can figure out the girl problems I have right now...

The problem is easy. She is likely under 25 and hence undateable. Have some fun, by all means, but save your money, don't be a fool and you'll be fine. If this is a semi-significant other(s) you're talking about, keep it casual at best. They'll be cool in a few years, but why waste your time now by not playing the field? If it gets more personal than that, pm me dude.

My niece keeps telling me that she wishes I was her mama. That's so sweet.

A good mother lady? ;D Never heard it put quite that way before. Insurance companies love crotch rockets as much as they love sports cars and 16-year-old new drivers. Why buy a bike to save gas money, only to spend that saved cash on your insurance??? Cars, specifically 4x4's, go where no crotch rocket has gone before. There's nothing like a night out under the stars in the middle of nowhere, with your favourite lady beside you. Atmosphere trumps vehicle every time. That said, there's nothing like a seven-year-old saying, "Daddy, I can feel the motor on your bike everytime you start it." Harleys Rule! Manning a computer lab on a Sunday blows. When I was in college, I manned one on a holiday - blew just as much, but at the time, the money was needed. Today I'd rather take the holiday. I keep getting PM's asking about a mass exodus. I keep replying that I don't know of any. I only know that a group of loyal posters are trying to create a better home, that's all. August is a month of birthdays and funerals, to me. Not as much fun as when I was in school. It's 4am, and my mind is full of random thoughts, (as if you didn't notice.) Anybody know a good shrink??

I hate my college bookstore, the books cost too much. I went up to the college early to beat the rush on books, so I could get used books. Anyways I get up there and learn I can not get my books because I can not use my financial aid until next week. So I figured I could at least reserve themsince Iwas there. But that was not to be I was told you can only reserve them online!!!! Which made me very angry. I sent an email to complain to the guy in charge. I am hoping my aunt can get three of the books I would save about $100 from the bookstore price. At least I did get my parking permit today though.

The problem with crotch-rockets is you have those guys wearing entire outfits that match the bike. Purple and yellow bike, purple and yellow helmet, gloves, pants, jacket, etc.
Than it's even worse that sometimes you can see man-panty-lines when they're riding ahead of you. When that happens I just take the next exit or turn, no matter how much extra time it costs me to destination.

cf68 would make an AWESOME mother or stepmom. A kinder, nicer person you simply will not meet. And I say this with no ulterior motive or anything. It is simply the truth.

I used the word simply twice in the above post. Shame on me.
And shame on the Karma police. I'm negative now? Piss on that!

Obviously, you'd know this better than I, or anybody here, for that matter. But I can say this: the little bit I do know, from how she's carried herself on the forums, PMs and whatnot, would suggest that you are absolutely bang on with this. Canes sounds like a great female role model for any young child. JMHO... and anybody who disagrees is WRONG!

If she chewed enough of it would you take her back? Better yet, would she take you back?

If she chewed enough of it would you take her back? Better yet, would she take you back? And if you two did get back together again, and you were at the beach and stumbled upon someone who chewed more of this gum than your g/f did, would you leave her again?

On another board there's a "non-sequitor" thread where you have to post off topic...
This could easily turn into that...

Ah, the Blue Beetle. Haven't seen that dude in a long time. What's next, Booster Gold?
Glad to see Karma is gone. That was a bad idea. It's like the Mogwai in the film "Gremlins." As a species, we are just not ready...
